Come take a look!
There is 3D printing and there is 3D printing. We would like to show you that difference. Print, Present, Future and this year the focus is on the future of the 3D printing industry. During this afternoon there will be live demonstrations of 3D scanning techniques, you will learn everything about ‘Design for AM’ and we will take you into our future and the latest developments within Parts on Demand. You don’t want to miss that, do you?
Are you coming to our party?
Parts on Demand has been around for 10 years this year! Of course, we won’t just let that pass by. After the informative part of the event, it is time for a festive drink to which you are certainly invited.
Of course it would be most fun if you’re there all afternoon, but of course you can also join just for the pints (without prints)!
Are you there?
There are a limited number of places available for the program. Do you want to be there? Then claim your ticket. And don’t forget to register your colleagues. In groups we rotate between the following activities:
- Partner demonstrations – learn more about co-bots, 3D scanning and pneumatics;
- Lecture on ‘Design for Additive Manufacturing’;
- Tour at PoD – discover the latest developments and materials.
Program:
Part 1: the future of 3D printing
- 1:30 pm start of program and reception
- 13h45 Roundtable discussion: solutions for the manufacturing industry
- 2:45 pm Activities round 1
- 3:30 PM Activities round 2
Part 2: 10 years of Parts on Demand
- 4:30 PM 10 years of Parts on Demand: Print, Present, Future
- 5:00 PM Birthday drinks
Practical information:
- Where? Event location ‘de Kraan’, Schaverijstraat 11, 3534 AS Utrecht
- When? October 24, start at 1:30 PM – end around 7:00 PM
- Parking? Free around the factory and along Schaverijstraat
- Public transport? Utrecht – Zuilen station (7 minutes walk)
And there’s more…
At the exhibition of our partners in ‘de Kraan’ you will be informed about the latest technology. This way you can learn more about:
- Automation and cobots with ABB;
- The possibilities of pneumatics and 3D printing with Festo;
- Metal printing in copper, topology optimization and mesh structures with EOS;
- Perform 3D printing quality control or reverse engineer with Geopoints; and
- The possibilities of 3D printing in different types of TPU.
Why manufacturers choose Parts on Demand
Industrial SLS 3D printing at production scale. 11 machines. 6 engineering-grade materials. One dedicated team.
Production capacity, not prototyping
Our fleet of 3x EOS P500 dual-laser and 7x EOS P396 systems runs 24/7 for series production. That means consistent mechanical properties from batch 1 to batch 1,000. When you need 5 parts or 50,000, the process and quality are identical.
Co-engineering included
Every project is reviewed by our in-house application engineering team before production. We optimize wall thickness, orientation, and geometry for SLS (DfAM), catching issues that would cause rejects. Competitors send your file straight to a printer. We make sure it works first.
6 materials, each with a purpose
PA12 for general-purpose parts (48 MPa tensile strength). PA 950 HD for structural black parts at reduced cost (44 MPa, 80% powder reuse). Carbon LW for metal replacement at 40% less weight. PA802CF for maximum stiffness. PA11 for chemical resistance. TPU for flexible, rubber-like applications.
